Safeguarding

The Rushcliffe Golf Club is currently working towards achieving our SafeGolf accreditation.

SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf.

Its mission is to safeguard the welfare of children and young people, as well as adults at risk, in the sport of golf. This will be achieved through a unique partnership which has the ability to influence and act as advocate for safeguarding across the golfing landscape, developing a consistent approach towards ensuring that all people have a fun, safe and positive experience when playing golf.

As part of our commitment to SafeGolf we are adapting the following policies and procedures with immediate effect and can be found by clicking the relevant link:

Further to this we are also required to have a Club Welfare Officer. This role is undertaken by Gisela Petsclher.

The role of the Welfare Officer is to take the lead in the Club on welfare and protection issues and ensure the appropriate action is taken when there is a potential /alleged abuse, bullying or poor practice. It is not their role to investigate fully any allegations made. For full details of our Club Welfare Officer, Gisela Petschler Click here

Should you have any questions with regards the policies please do not hesistate to contact the Club Manager.
